17 Former Cats are Set to Suit Up on NFL Opening Weekend

Yes, you read it correctly: Kentucky has SEVENTEEN players on active rosters in week one of the NFL season, which is the most Wildcats on NFL rosters since 1987. Team captains have been announced for the teams as well, as Josh Allen of the Jacksonville Jaguars has been voted a captain. Mike Edwards kicks thing off tonight, where the Buccaneers will host the Dallas Cowboys, which consists of NFL rookies Quinton Bohanna and Kelvin Joseph.
This is huge news for not only the players that represented the blue and white, but the ones to come. Kentucky had six NFL Draft picks in 2021, and all six made their teams' final rosters.
