Another Hurdle For UK vs Ole Miss

Kentucky will continue their SEC schedule this weekend as they face the University of Mississippi on the road for a 11 a.m. (CT) kickoff. If you, like many other Kentucky fans, are making the trip this weekend, then I guarantee you know the struggle of trying to find a hotel closer than an hour to Vaught-Hemmingway Stadium.

The media caught up with Jacquez Jones on Wednesday and we got to discuss the many things about the Vaught and Jones dropped a nugget by telling us that his team will have to make a 1 hour trip from their hotel in Tupelo on Saturday morning before arriving to the stadium.

This will be especially tough for Kentucky considering that the program hasn't won a game in the state of Mississippi in the Mark Stoops era. The trips to Starkville have been merely the same with the trip to the stadium. Is it possible that the team gets some air taken out of them along that bus ride? Maybe so.

Another important factor in the craziness of the Ole Miss trip is the horrible mixture of kickoff time AND the 1 hour drive before. If my math is correct (and often times it's not), Kentucky will have to be boarded at the hotel by 7 am CT. The team as a whole seems very excited to be making the trip to Oxford, but their patience will be tested from the time they wake up early that morning.

BAN NOON KICKOFFS!!!
