Anthony Brown Chooses Kentucky!
Big Blue Nation, get your dice ready to roll! Shortly after landing 4 impressive commitments the week prior, Kentucky gets a commitment from Anthony Brown, a 4-Star WR from Springfield, Ohio. 247 Sports rank Brown as the 400th best player in the nation, the 51st best receiver, and the 10th best overall in the state of Ohio in the Class of 2023.
Vince Marrow, yet again, is showing off his strong recruiting ties to the State of Ohio. It also doesn't hurt to show the young recruit what he can become as a Wildcat with a bit of help from a couple of star receivers in Wan'dale Robinson and Lynn Bowden Jr.
Anthony Brown was highly sought after by some big-name colleges such as; Cincinnati, Michigan, Oklahoma, Penn State, Tennessee, Michigan State, and Ohio State, among many others. Brown had offers from 31 FBS schools, so he was a hot commodity, to say the least.
Here are some highlights from Anthony Brown's Junior season at Springfield High School:
Brown joins both WR Shamar Porter and DB Avery Stuart as the 3rd 4-Star recruit for Kentucky's 2023 recruiting Class. Prior to Brown's commitment, Kentucky's 2023 Class thus far ranked 35th nationally and 8th in the Southeastern Conference, it will be interesting to see how his commitment changes things.
