Avery Stuart Commits To Kentucky

Boom. After two missed recruits over the weekend, Kentucky Football has picked up back-to-back commitments. On Wednesday afternoon, four-star safety, Avery Stuart, announced on social media that he would be bringing his talents to Lexington.

The 6'2, 174 lb. cornerback from Montgomery, Alabama chose the Wildcats over Florida State, Auburn, Arkansas and a few others. Stuart is a top-200 ranked prospect in the class of 2023 and the 21st best player from his state according to 247Sports' ranking system. He's also ranked as the 33rd overall safety per 247Sports, but is found all the way up in the top-twelve in the composite rankings.

His commitment pushes Kentucky's recruiting class into the top-eight throughout the conference. The lead recruiter on Avery's recruitment was Safety's coach, Frank Buffano, which this now becomes his second commitment since taking the job at UK.

The Cats are finally picking up some momentum after a rough holiday weekend.
