We always start the season off with "cupcake teams" as many of you say, in which, the betting lines surrounding Kentucky's first game of the 2022 season sure do reflect just that.
I'm actually fine with three of the first four games being set as presumably already won games because that just more so helps the team get back into motion from only going against their own teammates all summer long, as well as, help the new guys get adjusted to the collegiate level. Outside of heading to Gainesville for Week 2, these warmup games will be very beneficial for the team.
Kentucky has been listed as a 20.5 point favorite over Miami (OH) in Week 1.

The total points scored is projected for 51.5 with the money line for Kentucky being at -1678.
The first game of the season to open up Kroger Field will also be a night game, starting at 7:00 p.m. against the RedHawks.
