Cason Wallace Commits To Kentucky

Updated: Nov 15, 2021

Just like that, Kentucky now has its third top-10 commitment from the class of 2022. The last time John Calipari did that, was in 2013 with Julius Randle, Andrew, and Aaron Harrison.

Five-star combo guard, Cason Wallace, has announced he will play collegiate basketball at the University of Kentucky. The 6'4 guard out of Richardson High School (Richardson, Texas), chose the Wildcats over a few dozen schools across the country, but to name a few, places such as Tennessee, Texas, Auburn, Arkansas, Illinois and Texas Tech. With Wallace being from Texas, it was a given that Jai Lucas was his lead recruiter. Looks like the mission was completed.

Cason will join three other five-stars from the class of 2022 in Shaedon Sharpe (No.1 overall player in the class), Chris Livingston (No. 6 overall player) and Skyy Clark (No. 17 overall player).

Cason Wallace's commitment now jumps Kentucky from 7th to 1st in the overall 2022 rankings.
