Cats Are The Favorites To Win The SEC Tournament
You better buy Kentucky stock before it’s too late. You’ve already missed the train to jump on at the beginning of the season, but you can still support them as they approach the conference tournament that’s coming up.
John Calipari has his team in tip-top shape as the regular season is concluding, at 22-5 overall while being 11-3 in the SEC. It seems like no matter what wrench is thrown at them, whether it be an injury or a not my kind of night game from a key player, someone steps up and performs very well when their name is called.
Kentucky is trending to be the 2 seed in the Southeastern Conference Tournament, which will be hosted in Tampa, Florida this year, from March 9-13th.
Kentucky has won 49 SEC regular-season titles and 31 SEC Tournament championships, including having played in the championship game of the SEC Tournament in eight of
Calipari’s 12 seasons, winning it six times.
The Cats are projected as the betting favorites to win the tournament, ahead of the rising stars of Auburn who are currently 24-3 this year.
The odds from Circa Sports have Kentucky the favorite, and Georgia just fighting for their existence.

I hate every reason that this tournament is in Tampa this year because if it was in Nashville, it would be flooded with blue without a doubt in my mind. Don’t get me wrong, I fully expect UK fans will show up in numbers in Florida this year, because the excitement around this team is roof-raising, but a 3.5 hour drive versus a 12 hour drive just makes it more difficult for some.
Either way, I know this state will be rocking their UK gear and screaming at the TV if they aren’t there in person.
