Cats Coverage Is Looking To Add More Help!

As the school year begins and the sports seasons start back up, the Cats Coverage team is looking to add more help! If you've ever wanted to be involved with UK Athletics in a more in-depth form outside of being a general fan, this could be the opportunity for you.

Here are the requirements and positions available at the moment to join Cats Coverage.

Positions:

• Part-time UK Volleyball reporter (online and in person)

• Part-time UK Track & Field reporter (online and in person)

• Part-time UK Baseball reporter (online and in person)

• Part-time UK Soccer reporter (online and in person)

• Daytime help covering the two major sports (basketball and football) as needed

Requirements:

• Be a student at UK or a nearby college, if not, then live in Lexington

• Have general writing experience and a rich background of knowledge involving the sport

• Availability to cover the games and sometimes media opportunities that come with the sport

• Own a personal laptop

Keep in mind, these opportunities could lead into other avenues down the road if you excel in the position(s). Cats Coverage is a growing media outlet covering the University of Kentucky and can provide a great amount of opportunities for up-and-coming sports reporters.
