The 8th ranked Kentucky Wildcats return to action on September 24th against the Northern Illinois Huskies out of the MAC.
Kentucky has already played one MAC opponent this season, defeating Miami (OH) in week one at Kroger Field. Coming off the first shutout win since 2009, Mark Stoops is still looking for a lot of improvement out of his team. More specifically, he wants to see more from the offense. Through three games, the Huskies have only forced opponents to punt four times. This may be a prime opportunity for Kentucky to figure things out on the offensive end, as they are nearing full health.
