John Calipari played basketball at Clarion University from 1980-82, and also graduated from the school.
Undoubtedly the most famous alumni from Clarion, the school has decided to name the gymnasium court after him. What is known now as Tippin Gymnasium, will be newly named to as the John V. Calipari Court, but officially marked as the “Coach Cal Court."
A nice gesture for the HOF Coach, that will take place September 21st.
