Could Kentucky Be Eyeing Another Yahtzee?

Kentucky has landed in yet ANOTHER offensive lineman's top 5 choices to play collegiate football. Today, Hayes Johnson took to Twitter to let the country know where he will be announcing his verbal commitment:

The class of 2024 product of Taylor County is listed at 6-5, 295 pounds and ranks as the #1 recruit in the Bluegrass, according to 247Sports. Johnson is a member of Aspirations Gym, whose previous members include current and former Wildcats such as Wan'Dale Robinson, Carrington Valentine, Kiyaunta Goodwin and JJ Weaver. With the offseason drama that has allegedly circled a certain member of Louisville's #1 source of transforming high school athletes into NFL players (yes, that's a shot at U of L), it appears that Johnson will put an end to the misinformation, proving that there is still a bond between the gym and the Kentucky Wildcats.

The high three-star will choose between Baylor, Kentucky, Tennessee, Louisville and Michigan State. Most recruiting sites have Kentucky as the clear favorite and Johnson will be back in Lexington next weekend for Junior weekend hosted by Kentucky. The early-deciding tackle from Campbellsville was recruited by associate head coach Vince Marrow and will look to get a 4th star in this coming year, his last in high school. The high ranking 3 star is very versatile at Taylor County, taking snaps at center, guard and tackle positions. Zach Yenser and the rebranded Big Blue Wall will look to add Johnson as a pivotal piece, when he steps foot on campus.
