DeAndre Square Injury Update

The injury bug bites again. Kentucky is already short a veteran linebacker in Jacquez Jones and now the Wildcats will more than likely be short another when they travel to play at Missouri this coming Saturday. Mark Stoops announced in his weekly Monday morning press conference that Kentucky senior linebacker, DeAndre Square, will likely miss the game this coming Saturday.

"Everybody should be day-to-day, but with DeAndre, it is very doubtful," Stoops said.

Square suffered an apparent ankle injury very early on in the game against Tennesee, on the opening defensive drive. Square managed to come back in and finished out the first quarter. However, early into the second quarter, Square stayed on the sideline for the remainder of the game nursing the ankle injury.

Now, with both Jones and Square out at the linebacker spot, sophomore Trevin Wallace will be getting the start at the weakside linebacker position against Missouri.
