What a fun night this one was. If you watched the game yourself, I don't even have to explain myself. This team is so much fun. Sparks off the bench, a deeply talented five to start, and a fanbase craving some excitement. Tonight, that's exactly what they got.
The "Reed Sheppard game" is how we'll remember this one as he went for a career-high 25 points behind a 7/8 on three-pointers. Rob Dillingham also contributed, scoring 20 to combine the two for 45 off the bench. Insane. The 'Cats also cracked 100 for the first time this season after snapping a John Calipari era record of 17 made three's in one game.
These non-conference nights inside of Rupp Arena don't seem to be as boring as they once were... Kentucky will pick things back up on Monday evening when they host Saint Joesph's at 7:00 pm.
