Final Stats In 86-54 Win Over Auburn

Kentucky earns their 20th win of the season this afternoon after they defeated the Auburn Tigers by thirty two points, 86-54, who came into the matchup with the exact same record as the Cats. This now makes the 13th (of 14) season under John Calipari that Kentucky has won 20+ games in the regular season. The Wildcats are now 20-9 (11-5 SEC) as they have just two regular season games remaining on their schedule.

It was the "Antonio Reeves game" without a doubt as he went for 18 second half points, totaling for 21 points (8/13 FG) with 4 made three-pointers, as well as 1 rebound and 1 assist.

Four Wildcats contributed with double-figure scoring performances, and every single scholarship player (excluding Wheeler) got in the game. Oscar Tshiebwe also had a double-double by halftime, which moved him into 3rd all-time in UK history for career double-doubles. John Calipari after the game reflected on that milestone and just simply put it as, "We need to enjoy what he is doing because it’s just not normal.”

If you didn't get to attend this game in person today, you sure missed a good one. Rupp Arena was rocking and alive as ever, mainly from Reeves' outpour of points but also to the fact that Kentucky is gelling together as good as it has been all year long, which comes at the perfect time because Selection Sunday is in just two weeks from tomorrow.

Kentucky will host the Commodores of Vanderbilt University on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. ET. for their 'Senior Night' in Rupp Arena, an event that hasn't come too often over the Cal era. The head coach was asked who he expected to participate in it this year as they have 6 seniors on the roster but he said he did not know yet. "We haven't spoke about it but I expect a bunch of them to." That of course, will be the last home game of the season so I suggest you find a way into the building otherwise you'll be regretting it this summer when all of this is no longer in our lives.

To end the regular season, Kentucky will travel to Fayetteville to try to steal a victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks before planting their feet in Nashville for the SEC Tournament right after.
