Final Stats In 89-84 Loss vs. No. 1 Kansas

Kentucky takes their first loss of the season in the Champions Classic against a tough Kansas team who happened to be tabbed as the best team of the country to start the year. The 'Cats took the Jayhawks down to the wire as it came to missed shots and a free-throw shootout in the final two minutes to take a neck-and-neck ball game to its final result.

Hunter Dickinson was great as we expected, two of Kentucky's starters went cold, but there was still a lot of great things to take away from this game going forward. Here are the final stats from the matchup. Antonio Reeves led the way with 24 points.

Kentucky moves to 2-1 on the season and falls to 5-8 in the Champions Classic all-time. They're now 2-3 against Kansas in the event as well. Kentucky will be back in Rupp Arena this Friday at 7:00 pm versus Stonehill to regroup.
