Final Stats In 95-76 Win Over Louisville

The city of red got painted blue tonight as big brother made the trip and left with a 19-point win in humiliating fashion.

A down-bad program ran by former Kentucky assistant coach, Kenny Payne, fell big time to Kentucky just like everyone expected. After being down 5-0 to start the game, the ‘Cats went on a quick 9-2 run to take the lead and never lost it again the rest of the night.

We assumed Kentucky would put up major points in this game and they did. Ninety one points, led by Antonio Reeves (30) and Tre Mitchell (18) which left Ugonna Onyenso and Jordan Burks being the only scholarship players to not score a basket. The Wildcats finished at 51% shooting from the field and 48% from the three-point line through the forty minutes of play. Here’s how the rest of the stat sheet lined out.

It was a historic night by veteran Antonio Reeves who owned 30 points along side another impressive outing by freshman Reed Sheppard who finished with 11 points and 11 assists over the Cardinals. In every aspect of the game Kentucky dominated far beyond just the scoring we've mentioned above. Bench production, fast break points, rebounds, go down the stat sheet and indulge in it yourself.

It sure was fun, I must admit. The program of Louisville was now trampled in both football and basketball to concluded the 2023 year in smiling fashion.
