Final Stats In Win At Vanderbilt

Kentucky is leaving the big city with a win. Their trip to the "Music City" of Nashville on Tuesday night ended up being a really fun one and they didn't even have to step foot on Broadway. The Wildcats come out of Memorial Gymnasium with a 109-77 win and their sixth in conference play. Improving to 16-6 overall, it was a great feel-good win after getting destroyed at home just 48 hours prior.

Ruling out DJ Wagner (ankle) and Tre Mitchell (back) just moments before tipoff, Kentucky was forced to play without two of their starters and their third straight without their starting point guard. While it has altered this team in the past games, they managed to handle it well against a bad Vanderbilt team in a 32-point fashion.

109 points - their second highest of the season - was possible by having six Wildcats go into double figures in a 55% shooting performance. Antonio Reeves led the way with 24 points followed by Rob Dillingham's 20, with Justin Edwards, Aaron Bradshaw, Jordan Burks, and Zvonimir Ivisic all rounding out that list.

Here's the full box score.

Kentucky will head back to Lexington tonight and start their prep for hosting Gonzaga this Saturday at 4:00 PM. Let's get back-to-back wins and avoid the three-game home losing streak to keep the program morale increasing back to where it deserves to be.
