Final Stats In Win Over #8 Miami

What. A. Night... Big Blue Nation showed up in full force to pack out Rupp Arena to attempt to bring some life back to the crowd to support this basketball team that was hosting a No. 8 ranked Miami Hurricanes team that was fresh off a Final four last season. To say that they did is quite the understatement.

Kentucky exploded in this matchup as they ran from a halftime lead of five to a final score of plus twenty-two, winning 95-73 in a game that they were only a 4.5 point favorite in.

Reed Sheppard, who ran point guard the entire second half after DJ Wagner went out, finished with a team-high 21 points just ahead of Antonio Reeves (18) and Tre Mitchell (14). The Cats hit 9 three-pointers, shot 60% from the field, and moved to 6 wins in 7 attempts this season. Here are the final stats from the game.

Kentucky will be back in action Saturday night versus UNC Wilmington in Lexington.
