Final Stats In Win Over Ole Miss

A win! A win! A win! Yes, finally, Kentucky has won inside of Rupp Arena again. After a three-game hiatus, they've ceased their home losing streak at three with tonight's 75-63 win over the Ole Miss Rebels.

Tre Mitchell returned (back) to the show just before tipoff making this the first game of the season at full strength for this roster. Unfortunately, Tre would leave the court in the early portion of the second half to what appeared to be a really bad shoulder injury forcing him to head back to the locker room for further treatment.

The rest of the roster would close things out and put the 'Cats at 17 wins on the season and 7 in conference. This game started off as likely being remembered as the "Justin Edwards game" as he started off red hot taking in all of Kentucky's first seven points of the game. As time went on, it quickly became the "Ugo game" (once again) as he went into halftime with 7 blocks, finishing the game with 10 total. He mentioned a few weeks back that a goal of his was to get double-digit blocks in one game and I'm not sure many believed that it would happen. At least, without a lot of things going right... Well, he accomplished that rather quickly. He reached that milestone with over 12 minutes remaining in the second half in this game. What an absolute dawg.

Here are the final stats from the game. Antonio Reeves led all Wildcats with 15 points.

Kentucky will travel down to Auburn, Alabama this Satruday night to take on No. 13 Auburn.
