This has been one of the craziest recruitments I've ever seen by a prospect with such caliber.
Five-star Kiyaunta Goodwin was in Frisco, Texas, this morning for National Signing Day, expects to choose a school alongside every other top prospect in the country from the class of 2022.
At 8:15 am this morning, he was set to take the podium to choose between Michigan State and Kentucky. He went on, and ultimately announced he was not ready to pick yet, shocking everyone watching.
Less than 90 minutes later, multiple reports started coming out that Kiyaunta Goodwin will in fact announce this afternoon, expected to be around 3:30 pm.
So it appears the show MUST GO ON. This entire day was set to be a stressful one, and stories like these just contribute even more. Vince Marrow called into Kentucky Sports Radio's daily radio show and was asked how he felt on the current situation. Marrow said he's "always confident" and that if everything goes as he plans it, we "should end up with a top-ten class." Vince must've made a very, very important phone call to one specific player after news came out around fifteen minutes after eight this morning - wink, wink.
If you're seeing this now, Kiyaunta Goodwin has pushed back his signing ceremony once again, to 5:00 pm EST this afternoon.
He tweeted so, at 1:20 pm.
