Images From Day 1 of Spring Football Practice

September 3rd sure does seem to feel like it's an eternity away from now... 179 days to be exact. With Spring Football season gearing up this week, like many of you, I've been itching for any kind of news to come out from it.

Today was the first official day of practice for the team, and they're likely just figuring out a routine and throwing things at the wall to see what sticks with this roster, preparing for the Spring Game coming in April.

Rich Scangarello is putting his touches on veteran Will Levis, molding him to have another statement year in the SEC, Zach Yenser is getting to know the Big Blue Wall that he inherited, and Mark Stoops is setting us up for another 10-win season.

This week's practice will be conducted without pads, so a lot of it will consist of drills and motions while running through different exercises to further let the cream rise to the top and start to build out who will be making the plays this fall.

News will slowly come out as Spring Practice continues this week, but like I mentioned earlier, Kentucky will have their Spring Game next month, and it'll be as if Christmas arrived early as we get to see this new team in action.

Until then, let these pictures hold you over. After you view them two-thousand times, lay in your bed dreaming about a rocking Kroger Field this fall with a brand new scoreboard and blue stadium lights, come back throughout the week as we keep you updated with what's going on in practice.
