Ja'Kobi Albert Flips From Auburn To Kentucky

Mark Stoops has just convinced Ja'Kobi Albert to flip his commitment from Auburn to Kentucky.

Albert verbally committed to the University of Auburn on August 4th, however, Albert made an official visit to the University of Kentucky last Friday and shortly thereafter decommitted from Auburn on December 13th. This alone looked good for the Cats' chances to land the four-star prospect from Fairfield, Alabama.

Albert is listed at 5'11, 175 lbs and is extremely versatile as he can play both as a wideout and a safety. Ja'Kobi is listed as the 16th best recruit in the state of Alabama and 383rd in the country.

This is a major pick up and a key need for the Wildcats since they are losing Isaiah Epps, Josh Ali, and potentially Wan'Dale Robinson. Ja'Kobi joins a talented 2022 class with other wideout commits such as Barion Brown, Dane Key, and Tayvion Robinson.
