The transfer portal and coaching carousel are off to a fast start, following the end of the 2022 regular season. Kentucky has already had two players announce their intentions to transfer and that list will grow. Now, the coaching exodus is hitting Lexington.
Mark Stoops has begun his retooling of the coaching staff, starting with the departure of running backs coach John Settle.
Settle came to Lexington from Wisconsin in March of 2021. While Chris Rodriguez served his four-game suspension, the running back group severely underperformed. With his departure, will Coach Stoops look to a current staffer (hello, Eddie Gran) or someone outside the program? Only time will tell.
