Kentucky Football just announced that Linebacker Jordan Wright is officially available to return to competition. This is huge news for the Wildcats, since the addition of Wright brings this young Kentucky team a veteran presence, as Kentucky prepares to head to Gainesville on Saturday.
Anthony Richardson is going to be a handful for the Wildcats and one of the keys to victory is to keep Richardson from running all over them. With Wright back, that will be extremely helpful in Kentucky's goal of keeping Richardson in check. The sixth-year senior definitely knows how to apply pressure to the quarterback and that is something we did not see in week one against Miami (Ohio). Miami's quarterback, Brett Gabbert, had all day to throw the ball, but with Wright back I do not see a repeat of that against the Gators.
