Jordan Wright Likely Out For Wildcats Season Opener

Updated: Aug 26

The University of Kentucky football team will apparently be without another star for their season opener against Miami (OH) on September 2.

Kentucky Sports Radio’s Matt Jones shared on Monday morning’s radio show that outside linebacker Jordan Wright may also be suspended one game for an “undisclosed, off-the-field issue.”

This suspension will not make life easy for defensive coordinator Brad White, as Jordan Wright is one of three ‘Super Senior’ starters for the Wildcats. Luckily, White has some talented options to replace Wright for a single game.

The likely replacement would be Tyreese Fearby, a 6’5”, 230 pound freshman from Pittsburgh, PA. Fearby was rated a four-star by Rivals, 247sports and on3.com.
