Kentucky At Georgia Time Announced
Updated: Oct 8
Kentucky heads back to Athens this fall to take on the back-to-back National Champions in Georgia. While the majority of fans don't really give Kentucky a shot to win that game - I know there are some of you - it still would make for an exciting game to watch because of the "what if" factor.
What if Kentucky was to win? What if Kentucky was to keep it competitive for more than three quarters? It honestly feels like there's not much to lose in the game when you think about it. What I mean by that is no one expects you to win, so if you don't win, no one cares. But if you do... Lexington will be a fire pit. Don't tab me as the one predicting a Kentucky win because I'm saying all of this, because I don't, but I will happily eat my words if they ended up doing the damn thing.
I also have to say, this is a stadium I have never been to. It seems like I'm not in the minority in saying that from what I've been seeing online, and I likely think that's just because of no one wanting to go make the travel arrangements for what's essentially a guaranteed loss. Understandable. Either way, the game is going to get watched regardless. And we now have a game time set.
The game time was announced this afternoon for October 7th matchup, which puts the kickoff time set at 7:00 PM ET. for the Wildcats' third conference matchup of the season, and sixth game overall.
Georgia leads the all-time series 62-12 and 31-4-2 at home. The Cats are also on a 13-game losing streak to the Bulldogs. Yikes. Looks like it's going to be another tough one in the SEC East that evening.
