Kentucky Basketball Complete SEC Schedule Released
The complete basketball schedule is here and I have to admit that I cannot wait until the actual season arrives. Yeah, football season is here and I won't look past that, but this year should be a solid ride during the winter for Calipari and his team and the Canada trip has my hopes pretty high.
This top-ranked recruiting class surrounded by prestigious veterans led to an impressive 4-0 outing in the GLOBL JAM event and we're aiming for mid-October until we dive into BBM and the Blue-White game in full speed. I know we aren't supposed to get our expectations up after an offseason exhibition series but this team just won a gold medal for crying out loud and they looked well-oiled when doing so. That's even without their five-star center in Aaron Bradshaw and 7'2" Croatian signee Zvonimir Ivisic being in the mix. Oh yeah, and Ugonna Onyenso as well... Not getting excited about what's to come is extremely hard if we're being honest with ourselves.
This afternoon, the program announced their conference schedule for the 2023-24 season which now completes the full schedule. The SEC route consists of 9 away games and 9 homes game between the New Year and the second week of March. Here are the dates and opponents.

I sure am ready for some Kentucky SEC Basketball. That's where most of the meaningful games come from I feel like. The conference is full of so much talent and passionate fans.
Looking at the schedule, Tennessee gets matched up with twice, so does Vanderbilt, and Arkansas, as well Mississippi State, and Florida. It will be home-and-homes at both teams' arena. The schools that Kentucky will face only once in the regular season are Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Georgia, Texas A&M, and Missouri.
The conference matchups now complete the entire regular season schedule, and you can take a peak at the non-conference schedule here as we wrote about it back in late August.
