As Kentucky works ton complete the finishing touches on it's non-conference schedule, the University announced Thursday morning that Kentucky will play UCLA on Dec. 19 in the CBS Sports Classic, that will take place at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
This year's site, Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, is the home of the Cleveland Cavaliers. The doubleheader will begin at 2 p.m. with North Carolina vs. Ohio State, and the second game, UK vs. UCLA, will follow after at 4:15 p.m.
This will mark the seventh straight season of the CBS Sports Classic but the first one in Cleveland. Previous stops included Chicago (2014, 2018), Brooklyn (2015), Las Vegas (2016, 2019) and New Orleans (2017).
UK is 1-1 in the CBS Sports Classic vs. the UCLA Bruins. The one win they own goes to the platoon system (2014-15), when Kentucky demolished UCLA 83-44 in Chicago, which Kentucky had led at halftime by 34 points, 41-7.
Kentucky is now 3-3 in the CBS Classic after losing to Ohio State last season, 71-65 in Las Vegas.
UK is 8-7 all-time vs. UCLA but the Bruins have won three out of four in the series, including the last matchup between the two schools, which took place in December 2017 in the CBS Sports Classic in New Orleans.

Ohio State on Dec. 17, 2022
