A report came out this morning by Jon Rothstein that the Orlando bubble created inside Florida's Walt Disney World could be used to host a few major tournaments this season throughout college basketball.
The Orlando bubble might be the landing site to host the Champions Classic, Jimmy V Classic, Wooden Legacy, Preseason NIT, Orlando Invitational, Charleston Classic, Myrtle Beach Invitational, and the Diamond Head Classic.
As you know, Kentucky plays annually in the Champions Classic, a four team event between Kansas, Michigan State, Duke and Kentucky. If the report is confirmed, we could see our Wildcats heading south for some basketball.
Rothstein is reporting as of now that there will be no fans allowed to attend, as how the beginning of the NBA Bubble was ran, but I'm sure it will get crazy TV ratings having those blue bloods inside one bubble going at it.
Exciting news to be the least. More to come as this story updates.
