Kentucky Drops In AP Poll
Kentucky comes in at #10 in the latest edition of the AP Poll, dropping 1 spot from last week's ranking. Alabama, following their blowout win over Gonzaga, jumped up 7 spots to #9, making them the new highest ranked SEC team in the poll.
The biggest factor for Kentucky not being ranked high, despite 6 straight wins, is their weaker strength of schedule. Luckily for the Cats, some bigger opponents are coming up on the schedule.
This Saturday, the Cats play their first true road game of the season against Notre Dame in South Bend. The following Saturday, Kentucky takes on #21 Ohio State, who just beat Duke, in the CBS Classic in Las Vegas.
