Kentucky Finishes The Regular Season With A Win

After a long, frustrating, up and down five months cheering on this years team, we've finally hit the end of the season line. With the Wildcats defeating the South Carolina Gamecocks, 92-64, they finish 9-15 on the season and 8-9 in the SEC.

An exciting beatdown by a covid destructed Gamecocks squad, led to a momentum builder for this team heading into the SEC Tournament on Thursday.

Every single scholarship player scored today, led by BJ Boston's 21 points (6 threes), Davion Mintz's 20 points (6 threes), Olivier Sarr's 15 points and Isaiah Jackson's 13.

Kentucky shot really well as a team, finishing 49% from the field and 48% from the three. Davion Mintz caught fire directly out of the halftime gates hitting FIVE straight three-pointers, lighting an ignition within the few thousand in attendance.

We got to see a Cam'Ron Fletcher sighting, as he came in and had a huge dunk, as well as, seeing the entire walk-on group clocking in. All was well for a few minutes as the starters came out and let their thirty point lead soak in.

FINAL: Kentucky 92, South Carolina 64.

It's looking like Kentucky will play at noon on Thursday afternoon in the SEC Tournament, as the #8 seed versus a #9 seed Mississippi State team. Tell Dontaie Allen to eat the same pregame meal as he did when they faced off with the Bulldogs in January.
