Kentucky Football Adds Offensive Lineman To 2023 Class

The Kentucky Wildcats continue to add to a great class of recruits. This morning, offensive tackle Kyle Mixon announced via his social media that he has committed to play for the Wildcats. With Mixon, offensive line coach Zach Yenser is getting a 6'5", 310 pound offensive tackle from Northside High School in Warner Robins, Georgia. Northside is a 6A school, meaning that they play in the largest class in Georgia, which is a football recruiting hotbed.

Mixon has played against some of the toughest teams in Georgia and will be no stranger to competition. This will serve him well, as the offensive tackle position at Kentucky has lots of talented athletes that Mixon will have to compete against for playing time. The Wildcats look to get another offensive line commitment later in the week, as Taylor County offensive tackle Hayes Johnson will announce his choice at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Kentucky is the heavy favorite to land Johnson.
