Kentucky Football Spring Scrimmage Date Set

Updated: Mar 9, 2022

The Kentucky Blue-White Spring Game is finally making a comeback. For the first time since 2019, Kentucky will host its annual Spring Scrimmage at Kroger Field so fans can get an early look at the new roster. Due to Covid-19, Kentucky did not have the scrimmage in 2020 or 2021.

The date is set for Saturday, April 9th at 1:00 p.m. ET the university announced earlier today. This is the first time the Spring game has been held on a Saturday since back in 2016. The game will also be broadcasted on the SEC Network.

Tickets are not required for admission as the Blue-White Spring Game will be free to the general public. Kentucky fans can choose to sit where they would like to during the game, so with so much excitment behind the program at this time, I would suggest arriving early. All standard seating will be open and general admission, except for Sections 25-27 (Club Level), Loge Level, and specific seating blocks designated for the football program.

Kentucky will have several key players returning from the 10-win season in 2021. Players such as Will Levis, Chris Rodriguez Jr., Deandre Square, Jordan Wright, Jacquez Jones, J.J. Weaver, Octavious Oxendine, and Justin Rogers. This will make for an exciting start to Spring practice (which actually starts March 8th) along with the outstanding recruiting class that we have coming in.

Here are some highlights of Will Levis to get you by until then:
