Kentucky's Trip To London Re-Scheduled

After two years of cancellations and delays - due to COVID and scheduling complications - Kentucky and Michigan have finally came to a resolution and found a date to matchup. The Cats and Wolverines will face off in the London Showcase on December 4, 2022, inside the 02 Arena. Marist and UMBC will also be facing off in the same event that day.

If you are a part of the "Kentucky needs a more difficult non-conference schedule" crowd, this game is for you. In the past decade, Michigan has seen lots of success in the BIG 10, as well as the NCAA tournament with 8 tournament appearances, 5 Sweet 16's, and 2 National Championship appearances. Last season, they won the Big 10 regular season title, earned a 1 seed in the tournament, and danced to the elite 8 before getting knocked out by Johnny Juzang and the UCLA Bruins.

Michigan is having a relatively mediocre season this year. However, they have consistently been at the top of recruiting rankings since the hiring of head coach Juwan Howard, as well as getting key veteran returners and transfers. A rebuilt and reloaded elite Michigan squad could definitely show up to face Kentucky next season.

Tickets are going on sale at 5 am ET on Friday, March 4 exclusively through the 02 Arena website. With a capacity of 20,000 and a key matchup on the line, blue will most certainly get in.
