We're a little under two weeks away from the Florida Gators coming back to Kroger Field to take on the Kentucky Wildcats. It was just announced that the game time will be set for 12:00 pm EST on ESPN/ESPN SEC Network. While we weren't expecting a noon kickoff, what can ya do about it? It stinks but we will be ready for it at any point.
Kentucky faces off against Vanderbilt in Nashville this Saturday and Florida has Charlotte at home. Assuming both Kentucky and Florida takes care of business in week 4, this could be a potential AP Top-25 match up against the two conference rivals.
This could be a huge game for the Wildcats. If things go according to the plan against Vanderbilt as well, then this would give them the chance to go 5-0 before heading on the road to face the reigning National Champions in Georgia. The Bulldogs so far do not look like the same team that has won back-to-back National Championships. Last week against the South Carolina, they trailed 14-3 at halftime. Georgia went on to win 24-14 however, but with the Bulldogs struggling against South Carolina early it makes you wonder if the SEC East is more wide open for Kentucky this season than in recent years.
We'll get there, let's just worry about winning these next two first.
