Kentucky vs South Carolina Is Postponed

Kentucky now loses a second game of the season due to Covid protocols. The Wildcats game against South Carolina on December 29th, has now been postponed "due to a combination of positive tests, contact tracing and subsequent quarantining of individuals within the South Carolina men’s basketball program."

This game was going to be Kentucky's opening conference game of the season. It likely will be pushed back towards March 5-7, as the league has 'built in' those days for make ups as they expected this to happen throughout the season. Although, the new date for Kentucky versus South Carolina has yet to be announced.

Kentucky had to reschedule their second game of the season against Detroit Mercy due to contract tracing on Detroit's side. Todays news comes from South Carolina's side. Kentucky continues to keep up their end of keeping their players safe. (Knocks on wood)
