KU/UK To Host ESPN College GameDay
Saturday is going to be the atmosphere of all atmospheres throughout the college basketball world. Did that just make sense? Either way, you understood what I meant.
ESPN's College GameDay crew has announced that they will be traveling the Lawrence to showcase Kansas vs. Kentucky in one of the biggest throw-downs in recent blueblood history. No. 12 Kentucky will travel to Allen Fieldhouse in attempt to defeat No. 5 Kansas, who are currently 17-2 on the season.
Kentucky hasn't traveled to Kansas since 2016, in which they lost 90-84 in overtime. Tyler Ulis went for 26 points in his attempt to take down the Jayhawks, along with 15 from Jamal Murray.

This is the first time ESPN’s College GameDay has covered a game since the 2020 season. It will be a historic matchup between the two most winningest programs in college basketball history... literally. Kentucky is coming into the game with 2,343 all-time wins, just ahead of Kansas with 2,340 wins. Kentucky is 8-11 in ESPN GameDay games, while being 3-7 on the road. Kansas is 8-1 at home during ESPN College GameDay games.
