Two of Kentucky's biggest weapons who are currently sidelined due to injury, could be making their return this weekend.
The Cats will head down to Starkville this Friday to take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs, a night game, in which they look to improve to 7-1 after losing their first game of the season against No.1 Georgia
Marquan McCall (ankle) and Josh Ali (leg) both exited the Florida game with their own injuries, and McCall was expected to be out for a lot longer than Ali, who was only predicted to be out two games plus the bye week. This week at Mark Stoops Monday press conference, Mark Stoops was asked if either could possibly return this weekend, and he responded, "I feel like there is chance, yes."
Josh Ali seems to be the most likely of the two to return, but according to our Head Coach, they both could.
Stoops also said tight end Izayah Cummings will still be sidelined and will not play this weekend.
After a bye week full of rest and rehabbing, our guys are slowly making their way back.
