One of Kentuckys biggest defensive weapons this season has just been ruled out for the near future.
Senior Marquan McCall left the Florida game in the second half, limping with what appeared to be an injury in his left ankle. The team doctor ended up wrapping it up in tape, and McCall did not return for the rest of the game.
Coach Mark Stoops was asked about the injury, and what his timetable for return would be. “He will be out for a little bit. Lower extremity," was all Stoops had to say.
Marquan McCall has had an amazing season so far, and was absolutely killing it against Florida. Thankfully our defense has been amazing head to toe down across the line, but McCall's absence will be deeply felt. Hopeful for only a few games without him.
