MSU's Londyn Craft Added To UK Football Roster
On the latest version of the UK football roster, former Mississippi State Bulldog, Londyn Craft, has apparently joined the team.
First reported by Cats Illustrated this afternoon, the former eight game starter (2020 season) in Starkville had hit the transfer portal back in October and has decided he will play for Kentucky this year as a walk-on. This will be his final year of eligibility as he originated in the class of 2017.
After playing at IMG Academy in high school, the 6'0 safety joined MSU and redshirted his freshman season. He has since then spent a total of 5 seasons at Mississippi State getting a lot of SEC experience under his belt. In this 2020 season alone - his career best season - Craft totaled for 31 solo tackles and 25 assisted tackles in a season that nine of the Bulldogs 10 games came against in-conference opponents only.
The addition of Londyn Craft is a solid pickup from the portal who will contribute pretty consistently through his last year of college football. I can't help but feel bad for the guy because who in their right mind could spent that many years in Starkville?? He won't know what to do when he finally arrives in Lexington... Welcome to town.
