Olivier Sarr reportedly eligible by NCAA, still waiting on SEC

Dickie Vitale is reporting that the Wake Forest transfer, Olivier Sarr, has been cleared by the NCAA and that Kentucky is just waiting on the SEC to approve the waiver.

Vitale says Olivier Sarr eligibility makes Kentucky jump from a "top 25 team to top 5 team."

Olivier Sarr announced he was transferring to Kentucky back on May 6th, nearly four months ago, leaving Wake Forest after the firing of their Head Coach, Danny Manning. He chose to play for John Calipari in Lexington rather than pursuing a professional career this year, rather that be entering the NBA Draft or signing an Overseas contract.

News about Olivier Sarr's eligibility is expected to come out in the near future.
