Oscar Tshiebwe has exceeded the expectations of every Kentucky basketball fan who has gotten to watch him play this year. From the 20+ rebound games to hilarious off court interviews, Oscar is becoming one of the Big Blue Nation's all time favorite players.

And now he is finally getting the national attention he deserves as well. Through 14 games, Oscar has averaged 15.2 points per game, as well as 15.1 rebounds per game which leads all Division 1 players. These outstanding performances has landed Oscar one of the 25 spots on the 2022 Wooden Award Midseason Watch List.

The Wooden Award is the most prestigious individual award a college basketball player can win, truly showing just how amazing Oscar has been in his first season in Lexington.
