Oscar Tshiebwe To Have Minor Surgery On His Knee

The returning National Player of the Year and Kentucky's biggest weapon this year will be sidelined for a few days right as the season approaches us, receiving a medical procedure to get himself in gear for the season.

John Calipari announced on Tuesday that the nation's leading rebounder from just a season ago will "get examined as a precaution" for the season and that he's "going to have a minor 15-minute procedure to clean some things up."

Not surprisingly, Cal said he wasn't able to keep Oscar from participating in the team's Pro Day on Sunday in which representatives from all NBA teams were in attendance for.

Honestly, this procedure is extremely minor and is likely to "drain" stuff from his knee which is currently giving him problems. It is a minor surgery that requires very little down time which correlates with to why John Calipari said it was "not a big deal." The only thing we might have to worry about is him not being able to go 100% during Big Blue Madness this Friday night. The head coach stated, "No dancing at Madness."

Don't look into this news too much as Oscar Tshiebwe will be just fine for the season.
