Quintavion Norman Commits To Kentucky

Happy National Signing Day, Big Blue Nation. It's that wonderful time of year when a high school senior can sign their National Letter of Intent for the collegiate university of their choosing. Well, Kentucky starts the day off with a commitment from Quintavion Norman.

Quintavion is a linebacker out of Covington, Georgia, where he played high school football for Newton High School. The senior just recently came off of an official visit with the University of Kentucky on February 2nd and it was shortly after that on February 4th that the UK Football program officially offered the talented athlete.

Now when you check out his recruiting profile on 247Sports you will notice that there are no stars next to his name, but don't write Norman off so quickly. Brad White and the rest of the defensive staff have done some miraculous things during their tenure at Kentucky. The best example I can think of is Josh Allen who came into Kentucky as a 2-star prospect but he left shattering those expectations.

Here are a few of Norman's highlights from his senior season at Newton High School so you can make the evaluation on your own.

Norman also has a brother, Tay Cowan, who played at Miami (Ohio) and UCF. Tay Cowan was drafted in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals so clearly football runs in the family. As I said, Mark Stoops and company have shown that they like to take raw talented athletes and develop them into whatever role fits best under the Kentucky Football organization so I am interested to see how it plays out with Norman.
