North Laurel star and Kentucky legacy Reed Sheppard will be on his unofficial visit to Kentucky this weekend, per Travis Branham.

The newly tabbed five-star first received an offer from Kentucky back in July, after an impressive summer of AAU ball.

The in-state talent currently holds offers from Virginia, Arizona State, Clemson, College of Charleston, High Point, Indiana, Iona, Iowa, Louisville, Massachusetts, Ohio State, South Alabama, Stetson, Texas A&M and Kentucky.

Reed Sheppard is without a doubt a talent that will crush it at the collegiate level, but still as just a junior in high school, most of the ranking networks are still confused to where he ranks across the country.

On3: No. 21 overall, five-star

ESPN: No. 37 overall, four-star

247Sports: No. 62 overall, four-star

Either way, after a history of disconnect between Reed's father and John Calipari, with the offer coming (finally) this summer and now getting Reed to come onto campus, you can't be anything but happy. Kentucky needs to not mess this one up and it looks like things are finally going into the right direction.
