Reports: John Wall wants out of Washington

The time has finally come for John Wall to put himself in a position to go win a ring. It's clear he can't do that in Washington and he's now told the front offices that he wants out.

John Wall is one of just two active players across the NBA to have stayed on one team for over 10 years, including Golden States Stephen Curry. John Wall signed a 4-year, $171 million dollar contract with the Washington Wizards in 2017, which puts him making over $40 million dollars annually. After earning over nearly $184 million dollars in 11 seasons of his career, he's put the league on notice that he no longer is "chasing the bag" and that he's wanting to win championships.

It's currently being shopped that the Houston Rockets and the Washington Wizards could agree to a deal that would send Russell Westbrook to the Wizards, and Wall to the Rockets.

While nothing is official yet, expect to watch things unfold within the next few days as Wall is looking for a new home as one of the leagues top veteran-guards.
