Sahvir Wheeler Leaves Practice With Hurt Ankle

Incase you might've missed the news from Monday afternoon, towards the last quarter of Kentucky's open practice, Georgia transfer and junior guard Sahvir Wheeler appeared to hurt his ankle, which resulted in him leaving practice and being taken back to the locker room to be evaluated.

No word from the program has came out yet on what it could be, major or minor, and we likely won't hear anything until this Friday at Big Blue Madness. To me, it looked like a sprained ankle which looks very painful the moment it happens, but after a few days will return back to normal. Lets hope that is the case and nothing worse.

The 5-foot-10 guard from Houston is expected to do some big things at Kentucky after averaging 11.3 points and 5.8 assists per game in 57 career games with the Georgia Bulldogs.
