SEC Preseason Honors and Predictions

This afternoon the SEC released their annual preseason projections of what they believe each team in the conference will do throughout the season. Kentucky is being projected to finish fourth in the Eastern Division, behind Georgia, Florida and Tennessee.

Eastern:

1. Florida

2. Georgia

3. Tennessee

4. Kentucky

5. South Carolina

6. Missouri

7. Vanderbilt

Western:

1. Alabama

2. LSU

3. Auburn

4. Texas A&M

T5. Ole Miss

T5. Mississippi State

7. Arkansas

Also, 6 Wildcats were named to the All-SEC Teams:

First Team: Max Duffy (punter), Drake Jackson (center), Landon Young (offensive tackle)

Second Team: Darian Kinnard (offensive tackle)

Third Team: Josh Paschal (defensive end), Boogie Watson (outside linebacker)

Kentucky is set to start their 10-game conference-only season this Saturday, when the Wildcats travel down to Alabama to face off against the Auburn Tigers.
