News just hit surface that Kentucky's No.1 overall commitment in the class of 2022, could potentially be enrolling in Lexington next semester, per Travis Branham of 247Sports.

"Shaedon Sharpe’s development is well ahead of schedule, as a result, he is considering enrolling earlier than expected at the University of Kentucky," the source told 247Sports.

Although Shaedon Sharpe is considering enrolling into college early, reportedly the plan is to still not play until the 2022-23 season. Essentially, all this means is that he realizes he is too advanced for High School basketball, I think we all already knew that, and that he's ready to move onto the next chapter.

What you may not realize, is that if he did enroll early, and just worked on his game here for the spring semester, he would then have the option of entering his name into the NBA Draft that summer, and never play an actual game of college basketball... Of course, that would be detrimental to the fans and the success the program could have with him, but thankfully nothing is final yet.

"A final decision has not been made but is in strong consideration and a final decision is expected to be made in the coming weeks,"per Travis Branham.

Lets hope he does decide to come here and doesn't just use Kentucky as a stepping stone into the league. Sharpe could help put Kentucky back over the top as THE premier program that top recruits should want to come.. And play.
