Shamar Porter Commits To Kentucky

Even though the Cats are losing Wan'Dale Robinson to the NFL Draft this summer, they are bringing in one of the most talented groups of wide receivers to be assembled on one roster at Kentucky through its program history. Liam Coen has created an offense here at Kentucky that is appealing to wide receivers and quarterbacks, and it is no shock that players are wanting to come to play under him.

Shamar Porter is that next guy. The Nashville native is ranked as a four-star by 247Sports, and is tabbed as the third best player from the state of Tennessee, including the status of the nations 19th best receiver.

Shamar chose Kentucky over Georgia, Cincinnati and a half dozen others. He joins Kaden Moorman (ATH) and Ty Bryant (ATH) as just the third commitment in the class of 2023.

Things are continuing to trend up and up around Kentucky football and as some may say, "business is booming" around the streets of Lexington.
